There are many reasons people enjoy the images on this blog, from nicely rendered spaceships that inspire illustrators as well as Lego builders to beautiful space scenes that evoke mental images to science fiction authors. One of my favorite parts is when an artist/designer sends a well thought out and rendered design where the shape and form are the derivative of function.
